After School Programming
The After-School Program is meticulously crafted to support the holistic development of scholars, emphasizing both social and academic growth through a well-balanced mix of structured learning and engaging recreational activities. Spanning from Fall to late May, the program runs five days a week, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Each session begins with a nutritious snack and targeted homework assistance for the first 30 minutes, ensuring that scholars have the support they need to reinforce classroom learning. Following this, scholars participate in enrichment activities offered two to three times a week, which include options such as sewing, pep squad, yoga, basketball, and soccer. Additionally, the program provides access to specialized paid enrichments like robotics, coding, martial arts, and more. This comprehensive approach cultivates a harmonious blend of work and play, fostering a vibrant environment where scholars can thrive academically, socially, and creatively.

FAQs
- How do I get my child in the after school program? To enroll your child in the after-school program, guardians will need to complete the interest form when it is sent out via Parent Square. After submission, you will receive either an acceptance or waitlist email. If accepted, guardians must then complete and submit all necessary registration forms, waivers, and updated health documents.
- How are children selected for the after-school program? Given the high demand and limited availability, scholar selection for the after-school program is conducted through a lottery system. Priority will be given to a percentage of scholars with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and those in temporary housing to ensure equitable access.
